Boutique Hotel Justus - Riga

Design of the hotel is excellent. We enjoyed the down town central location of the Hotel. I was really surprised about the cleanliness and the quality of the bath room.

I was prepared that the breakfast will not be rich and I can confirm it.

A lovely new hotel in one of the old buildings in the midddle of Riga.

A tastefully renovated traditional building in the heart of the Old City of Riga, superbly located in a cobbled street within easy walking distance of all the main sights. My room was of a sensible size, clean and comfortable, with a well-equipped bathroom and shower. Breakfast in an adjoining high-class restaurant (Le Crabe) was included in the room price.

Disappointing range of satellite TV channels available (only around 15, only one of which - CNN - was English language). My room was not cleaned during my two-night stay, which as it happened was not a problem (the bed had duvets) but could have been irritating if I had left it less tidy. (The bathroom was similarly not attended to, and the toilet-roll almost ran out by the end of my 48 hours there).

The design of the hotel was stylish and individual. I thought that the staff on the front desk were excellent and very pleasant. We had a nice large room and the bathroom was well maintained. The location was very central, yet quiet. The building is an historic one and it is nice to stay in a hotel with character.

The seating was uncomfortanble. In our room we had two small low chairs, not remotely comfortable. I think proper armchairs and cushions are needed. In the public area, hugh deep chairs, I could not sit back and have my feet to the floor. Again, cushions here and on the benches in the restaurant would considerably improve the comfort of the hotel.

Every visit to Riga we like to stay here. The hotel is nicely decorated and fairly clean, has beautiful views to the old town. Attentive staff members are at reception desk.

Location of the hotel is excellent. Few minutes walk from several restaurant and shops. Hotel personel speaks fluent english and service is good. Rooms are clean, beds are very good and air conditioning works.

Very bad soundproofing. Service not professionnal and noisy. My credit card did not work in this hotel - even if it works everywhere else. On purpose? Breakfast much too late.

Nice and comfortable room with a beautiful view over the roofs of the old city. The location is simply perfect and the hotel itself is a well reconstructed historical building.

The only minor complain is about the hotel restaurant, where I would expect a better trained staff and some more vegetarian food.

The location is perfect for exploring Old Riga, and we enjoyed the beautiful sights and sounds of the city. The hotel has an authentic charm, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

In my kids' opinion, it would be great if the hotel provided soundproofing for rooms facing the street to block out late-night noise.

the greatest thing we liked about the hotel was its location. really great! rooms are very comfortable and the view is excellent! staff is very friendly and amiable! would exctly recommend it!

Loock at the old city

They had a great sauna where I relaxed and enjoyed some quiet time as well. Just a heads up, there was a slight draft from the windows, but those thick blankets kept me warm all night 😊
